Jerome is the founder of Pyxis and serves as Chief Investment Officer and Executive Director, a role in which he acts as the
custodian of the firm's investment philosophy and process across all funds and teams. Since establishing Pyxis in 2022, he
has been instrumental in shaping the strategic direction and investment culture of the organization.
Jerome brings nearly a decade of investment experience, having entered the industry in 2016. He began his career on the
unlisted side of the market as a Portfolio Manager, before transitioning into listed fund management as an Analyst in
2018 — gaining a well-rounded perspective across both private and public markets.
Jerome is a qualified Chartered Accountant CA (Nam) registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Namibia (ICAN)
since 2014 and is also a registered with the Public Accountants and Auditors Board of Namibia (PAAB) since 2021.
Michelle holds a Master of Commerce in Financial Markets and an Honours in Economics from Rhodes University, South Africa. She previously interned in private equity, wealth management as well as investment management before joining Pyxis. As a Junior Investment Analyst, she conducts in-depth research to understand capital markets, asset management operations, and investment strategies across asset classes, insights that contribute to smarter investment decisions and long-term value creation.
Kasoma Paulino is a Junior Investment Analyst here at Pyxis Investment Management. Kasoma holds a Master of Business Administration as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration emphasized in Finance and Financial Management, both attained from Henderson State University in Arkansas, USA. He started his professional career as a Business Development Associate before transitioning into the investment space as an Investment and Wealth Intern. He is a passionate, driven, and disciplined individual committed to making a change through the investments industry. He supports the investment team with research and analysis, contributing to well-informed, investment decisions.
Gerson is the Chief Operating Officer, responsible for overseeing operations, finance, compliance and corporate governance,
while also serving as the Company Secretary. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant CA (Nam), registered with the Institute
of Chartered Accountants of Namibia (ICAN) since 2016, and comes with over a decade of experience having worked with institutions
in different industries during his tenure at KPMG and while working in the banking sector.
With a multidisciplinary background and a commitment to operational excellence, Gerson provides strategic
leadership across the organisation, ensuring strong financial stewardship, robust compliance, and the effective
execution of the company’s long term vision.
Luzaan is our Office and Administrative Assistant, comes with an academic background in administration, public management and bookkeeping. She has a passion for continuous learning and professional growth. She strives to maintain a workplace that is efficient and organised. In her role, she keeps daily office operations running smoothly and provides valuable administrative support to the entire team. Her positive attitude and dedication make her an important part of our organisation.
